From cottage guests
At check- in, they walked us through some of the nearby attractions and how to find them, but also, there was some very helpful information on local markets and nighttime illuminations at temples- both of which we attended and loved.
Nana was very welcoming and provided detailed information about the area, great recommendations on places to visit and eat, and clear explanations of Kyoto’s cycling rules, which made using the provided bikes easy and enjoyable.
Our cottage was fantastic. … We were escorted to our lodging, and given a tour. We even were given the use of bicycles which was wonderful.
