Our largest cottage at 89㎡, a renovated 90-year-old machiya just steps from Funaoka Onsen and named after Funaokayama, the "boat hill" nearby. Sleeps up to six across two floors, with two toilets for busy mornings. The living room has floor heating, so it stays warm through the winter.

It was nice that the kids had their own room upstairs. … The bakery right across the street is absolutely lovely. As a person with tattoos, I appreciated being able to experience the sento at Funaoka Onsen - also right across the street!
